The report was developed by a team from the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beirut, in collaboration with The Lebanese Foundation for Renewable Energy and the National Council for Scientific Research.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-horizontal is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-499968f5 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-cta\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-ummah-stateless\/2021\/11\/e6b6044a-green-mosques-report-e-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-ummah-stateless\/2021\/11\/e6b6044a-green-mosques-report-e-1.pdf noopener\">Read and download the report<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>This report shows the potential that \u2018the Ummah\u2019 has to be part of the solution not only through the direct environmental benefits of \u2018greening\u2019 these Mosques but also because of their potential to influence people as centres of culture, spirituality and community life.
